Aishi Singh

Secretary General

An IBDP Y2 at D.Y. Patil International School, Nerul, Aishi Singh is delighted to serve as DYMUN’s Secretary Generals. Aishi fell in love with the world of Model United Nations at a very young age — as she has always been intrigued by the event’s promotion of discourse, discussion, and debate. It is her belief that MUN is where young minds evolve into our next generation of difference makers, diplomats, and politicians. Over the course of the conference, Aishi hopes that all delegates broaden their horizons about current affairs, improve their public speaking skills, and have an overall rewarding experience participating in the committee sessions.

Aishi is altogether excited to see this eventful and debate-filled weekend unfold.
Please feel free to contact her, should you have any questions! She is looking forward to meeting you in October.

Krisha Kalsi

Director General

Curiosity. Teamwork. Quick-thinking.

These are the words Krisha would choose to describe what being a MUNer encompasses. Having attended many conferences herself, Krisha believes that MUNs are one of those rare and life-changing opportunities that will open your eyes to the world and make you well-versed with grappling issues in the most fun and interactive way possible!

Krisha is glad to serve as DYMUN’s Director-General this year. She strives to guide and empower delegates every step of the way, whether it is their first conference or yet another feather in their MUN cap. Along with her amazing and ardent team, she is preparing a conference to remember!

Feel free to contact her if you have any questions or queries. Krisha can’t wait to see you at the DYMUN conference!

Tisya Goel

Charge D'affaires

With an effervescent personality, Tisya Goel is very excited to be DYMUN’s Charge D’affaires. She did her first MUN conference in grade 7, and has been chasing that adrenaline rush of a good debate ever since.

Critical thinking and devising instant jabs are Tisya’s favourite aspects of a MUN. She believes that MUNs shape young students' minds in a way like no other extracurricular activity and compose the youth to be much more aware of the happenings around the world. She is eager to help other delegates in every way she can, and aspires to make students comfortable and master MUN skills.

She is looking forward to new and exciting debate-filled adventures with the delegates!

Manasi Sonavane

Chief Advisor

Accept both compliments and criticism, knowing it takes both rain and sun to make a flower bloom. Manasi Sonavane, a passionate debater, has pulled herself up to do various MUNs and organise them with tonnes of interest.

For the upcoming event, she will put her soul into making you comfortable and appreciated in the debate session. As Caroline Forbes said- “When anybody tells me I can’t do something, I prove them wrong” is exactly what defines Manasi’s passion with everything she does.

She will make sure that each and everyone in her committee gets inspired to participate in the debate. not only during conferences but also in life. She will not only make debating seem like a great opportunity, but also as a challenge for those adventurers who want to look at perspectives differently. Manasi aims to shape you into your own role model, and will always be there to hold your hand and walk with you through all your milestones.

“The education is not the learning of facts but the training of minds to think”- Albert Einstein

Education today focuses on kindling curiosity in our learners and encourages them to explore beyond prescribed curriculum and academics. Today, learners are more open to the differences among people and are also ready to accept these differences.

DYMUN is an initiative by a community of young burning minds to encourage our youth to debate on Global issues and bring in new perspectives to understand the changing world that we live in.

It is an effort to encourage the new genX to take charge of the future. So go ahead and be a part of this unique experience!

Shazia Ahmed

DYMUN is an amazing platform for exchange of ideas and  opinions.  Participants of Mun learn to broaden their perspective and develop  global outlook, in addition, working together towards a common goal they become problem solvers and dynamic thinkers.

Thus, without a doubt, MUN is an enriching experience for all.

ShrUnderstanding the global issues that concern our world is the need of the hour, MUN provides this platform to the greatest resource of our nation; the youth to come together to research, discuss and debate on these areas of concern. In the process, students enhance their critical thinking skills, teamwork, and leadership abilities. The student-led DYMUN is handled by seasoned MUNers, it allows for simulations to be more in line with the way the UN actually works thus preparing the next generation of conscious future leaders.
